This course has been designed for those wishing to enter the special events industry as a wedding planner. The course is designed to enable you to study at your own pace in an interactive environment; making it perfect for anyone in full or part time employment or for anyone who has other commitments which make it necessary to study in their spare time.

Currently the course is offered by Distance Learning only, although upon enrolment you will receive access to our Virtual Campus allowing you to chat to your tutors online, jump on the student forum, delve into the library of Podcasts and videos and check out the Job Board.
The course is completely self-contained and will give you a defined career path at the end of it. Our tutors will be by your side every step of the way and through our Virtual Campus you will feel as though you have attended class without the hassle of ever having to leaving your desk.
Course Details
Do you have a genuine love of weddings and events, and a passion for the glitter, excitement, and romance that goes with them? There could never be a better time to make your move into this glamorous profession. A relatively new field, wedding planning is the fastest growing sector of the highly lucrative wedding industry, making this a hot career choice in an equally hot industry.
From when a client first approaches you with their wedding date to helping them create and plan their dream wedding, you will experience firsthand the demands and requirements that come with being a Wedding Planner.
You will also have the option to include training and a 3 month all access license to the UK’s only web based wedding planning software as part of your course materials. This will then be incorporated within your course assignments.
Your course will include 16 assignments, 14 of which are based on authentic wedding briefs. These assignments will lead you through every stage of planning a wedding. You will be expected to treat your tutor as your bride and the assignment you submit as your proposal.
Effectively you are building yourself a portfolio as you make your way through the course, allowing you to hit the ground running upon graduation. The last two assignments in the course focus on starting your own wedding planning business and gaining employment within the industry.
The Certificate in Professional Wedding Planning is the most hands-on and comprehensive course available in the UK and it will equip students with the knowledge they need to work as professionals in the Wedding Industry.
